As the first quarter of 2024 wraps up, we've taken a look at the performance of the top five theme parks applications on the iOS platform in the United Kingdom. The following insights, courtesy of Sensor Tower, highlight the download numbers and weekly active users for each app.
Disneyland® Paris saw a fluctuating download trend starting at roughly 8K in the first week and peaking at nearly 8K in the last week of the quarter. Weekly active users dipped to around 12K in early March but rebounded to approximately 16K towards the end of the month.
My Disney Experience maintained a steady performance with downloads hovering around 2K, and a spike to over 3K in the last week. Revenue peaked at $840 in early February, then dipped but rose back to over $600 by quarter's end. Active users saw an upward trend, starting at around 4K and climbing to nearly 5K.
Alton Towers Resort — Official experienced a significant increase in downloads, from under 1K in the first week to over 8K in the final week. Active users showed a considerable drop mid-quarter but recovered to just under 10K by March end.
LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort also saw an increase in downloads, starting at under 1K and reaching over 3K by quarter's end. Weekly active users followed a similar pattern, with a low of around 4K in mid-January to a high of nearly 9K in the last week.
Lastly, Universal Orlando Resort displayed steady downloads with a notable increase to over 2K in the last week. Active users started at approximately 7K and saw a rise to close to 8K by the end of March.
